Ada and Otto have lived their entire lives in a small country town. The routine of the couple and their neighbors is altered with the sudden disappearance of the postman. Despite the help of lettuce tea to combat his insomnia, Otto continues to spend his sleepless nights reading thriller books. When revisiting his memories, reality and fiction end up mixing, but he will try to find out what really happened.

Vanessa Bárbara's book, masterfully translated into images by Zeca Ferreira, and magnificently interpreted by Marieta Severo and Everaldo Pontes, everything so simple and delicate, as a simple life in the countryside reminds a little bit of us, our parents, our grandparents, some familiar objects, nostalgic... The somewhat chunky script maintains the mystery until the final outcome, and each previous scene gains new contours, a very satisfying approach...
