Whistle and I'll Come to You!

In this film, Colonel Wilson transcribes the whistle's Latin inscription as "QUIS EST QUI DEAIT," which he translates as "Who is this who comes?" This may be more accurately translated as "Who is this who is a god?" In M. R. James's original story, Professor Parkins transcribes the whistle's text as "QUIS EST QUI VENIT," translating it as "Who is this who is coming?"
