This short combines Manhatten's urban feel of cultural community via an urbanite painter, "Shuo" helmed well by Emerald Gan. It shows great promise of displaying culture happening in an urban city.

And the paintings themselves were very good, showing the intention of the Scheyzk's storytelling.

A young painter and his passion for sketches of people discovered near him. His venerable father looking for sell the painting of his rested wife. Money trouble and the sadness - angry- fear- regret about wife of venerable man.

But, one day, in park, Shuo got inspiration about fair way to have succes.

Poetic portrait of the relation with past and the need to offer your voice , it represents , in same measure, seductive hommage to ordinary people , strangers walking near us everyday.

Inspired acting, touching story. I admitt, I was not very seduced by final versions of paintings but I imagined the sketches inspiring them and this was a real good consolation.
