I'm not sure what this program and/or police facts they are not revealing but I am perplexed by their investigation. A stranger called Amy's home asking her to meet at mall to buy her mother a gift because she just got a promotion and want to surprise her. 1st question: Police can get phone records so where did this person call from? He also called other kids. Where did the calls come from. Also, not only did they know the kids but knew information about the family. Personal information. Obviously it is someone that can find their info. Also, this show accused people that kids have been around either at school or after school activities yet the kids who saw the man that took Amy was not someone they had seen. After finding Amy's body was there any DNA taken? I am assuming they still have her clothes. If not, why? I want to know if the DNA from Amy has been processed? I am either not educated about Amy or have no faith in her investigation.
This series is okay, thought I'm not a fan of the narrator who always seem to be on the brink of excessively dramatic tones.
But what really jarred for me was that the investigators said things like "then he had sex with her" when the female in question has been kidnapped! That's not sex, that's rape. How could the investigators get this so wrong? Why didn't the interviewers or editors correct it? Words matter.
Aside from that, it's a decent enough series that doesn't quite delve into the errors made which could have resulted in an earlier arrest, and fewer tragedies.
Most of the episodes relate to very old incidents. Hopefully this region isn't quite as dangerous as it used to be.

Just watch the the story about Gloria Pointer. I remember this story well because I was also in 8th grade at the time and lived only a few miles away. The only issue I have with the episode is this did not happen in East Cleveland but The East " side" of Cleveland
East Cleveland is a Suburb of Cleveland and borders the location of this tragedy. Showing East Cleveland police station and police cars to me showed poor research and editing. Other than that decent episode

So many of these rehashed crime docu-series are done these days it's hard to find ones that are actually good. This review is short and sweet. If your a fan of these , watch it. It definitely held my Interest, and was definitely sad and unbelievable as usual.
Ghostly, mysterious and most of all relatable. I would definitely recommend watching this.
