Indícios Dois

This short featured two strikingly handsome actors playing a couple of straight lads who'd been given the opportunity to move to Rio de Janeiro. We follow their sense of wonder at their new city on the beach, in a cab, in the flat that they have been allowed to live in as a favour from a friend.

The lads get closer to each other, symbolised by the sole double bed in the flat that they have to share. Rampant thoughts invade their minds after more and more physical proximity. Is some of it a dream? It seems so but if it is, it's a dream of longing.

What transpires? Our imaginations have to work that out.

The friendship can become more ? That is the basic point for this beautiful and lovely short film about gestures, fears, joy, love and the moment when the closer other becomes more than the best friend. The good point - the film gives not an answer. Only clues, reaction, a dream, the beach and the room and a hug who could change everything. Admirable performances, inspired end. And a nice story about subtle, delicate things.
