I started watching because I was interested in Chanel, but I ended up watching more and getting really into it. I never knew about League of Legends and I feel like I learned a lot. It's interesting to learn about thing I'm not familiar with, and the behind the scenes action really represent these niche communities and the events they put on.
It's not the aftermath (though you get a bit of that too), but rather the lead up and into an "event". Now that may be the crux of it all for some though. The docu series is well done and it really has a nice pace overall to it. The question for some of the viewers may be: am I interested in a dog show? In a fashion event? Re-opening of a restaurant? All in all, very good. However for Netflix to say that the opening of a New York restaurant (Ep. 2) is one of the top World's top seven events is a stretch and a half. This is a problem with Netflix's show overview, not the restaurant might I add.
Usually I don't like documentary series but I really liked the variety of the events. If only I could be part of them myself!
