Plot okay. ACTING is absolutely terrible! Could barely get through half of it when I had to turn it off. Bored to tears and frankly? Cannot even remember when I've seen a movie made for TV that was this awful!. Lousy movie track music as well; shockingly so. Wow. I just can't get over how bad this was...It's truly been sometime since I've seen such a poorly put together movie.
When I read the synopsis, it seemed likable enough. Basically, a young lady returns to her small home after a family member's death. She learns she inherits everything, which is substantial, but of course there's a stipulation. The location shots, sets, etc are all pleasant, and they do an exceptional job at conveying the small town feel, even though it was shot in Los Angeles. But that's where the good stuff ends.
As an entertainer myself, let me say if I don't like someone's performance, I'll keep it to myself. But on this case, it's pretty much the entire cast. Smiling thru serious lines, big pauses in dialogue as if they forgot what the line was, when lines are read, they're pretty monotone. I was certain this was a low budget student film, the kind where they cast all of their friends and family to save money, regardless of their talent (or lack there of). I tried to look past it and gave it a chance anyway, waiting til the end. Silver lining: At least I saw it for free (on Freevee ).

Predictable Hallmark movies are my guilty pleasure so I watch my fair share of romantic fluff. This movie was so painful to watch - I ended up turning it off. The acting was like watching the first session of a high school drama class in my living room.
Somehow I got through about a third of this movie before I was ready to tear my hair out. I am not sitting here watching two people saunter through their family photo album. And that was the best part. Slow, lackluster, very poor acting, poor storyline, annoying background music...life is just too short to spend on bad movies.
This movie was horrible in every way one can be. Predictable story line, which by itself wouldn't be so bad if the acting could redeem it but it doesn't. It is bad bad bad... No subplots either beyind the obvious annoying and disinterested boyfriend and potential live interest in the childhood friend turned lawyer. Just this darned fight over an historic landmark house that ties to family... really???? Dont waste your time.
