It was an amazing experience to watch this movie. The monogatari series is one of the best stories out there and not just in anime or light novels, but internationally. And what this movie managed to do is connect what happened in the previous seasons and show us the whole picture. Monogatari is not like most show in which you can sit down and relax while watching. You have to keep thinking and undersatand everything in order to follow the story.

This is the "afterword" and final ending of the Koyomi saga. The ending was fine, and it revealed an interesting take on the characters.
Complete Series Review:
In its entirety, Monogatari is a tightly written supernatural witty harem. While it excels in its artistic presentation, covering its own plot points, making things come full circle, making S-tier characters; it greatly lacks in engagement. Very frequently the dialogue was just unengaging and bland. This was most notable when we got large info dumps (from Gaen) and they tell us about events rather than show (ex: Shinobu's backstory pertaining to "darkness" was just an artistic slideshow). In an already dialogue-driven show, we should get to see these types of events animated rather than just talked about. This flaw made it tiresome to get through installments like Koyomimonogatari. Lastly, the fanservice can be ridiculous especially since this isn't an "ecchi", and the incest service is beyond stupid, but overall Monogatari was a well-written mixed bag. This is a niche anime and will be a hit or miss with most viewers.

Good season. And good ending to the great Monogatari series, at least for the anime side of things and at least for now. Beautiful season. The message was good and interesting. It was nice seeing Adult Mayoi, caring Sodachi, expressive Yotsugi, etc. The message. The regrets of everyone and the regrets of Araragi. The events that happened and the difficulty of moving on. It was nice knowing why Senjou wasn't in the Mirror world ; Araragi didn't have any regrets concerning her. The ending was satisfying, good conclusion. Literally the perfect conclusion for Araragi's character and the rest of the girls. Enjoyed this season a lo. Epilogue was nice. Nice to see Araragi transcending into the adult world. Overall nice season and arc, and nice message.
This was certainly very hearttouching, and a delight for Monogatari fans, doesn't have the same level of emotional impact as Owarimonogatari, but it is certainly resounding and a pleasure to watch Araragi unravel another problem and meet his girls again under peculiar circumstances.
As always this is an extremely unique, beautifully animated and a very genius show. So much love for Koyomi Araragi.

Although I enjoyed this quite a bit, and found the start to finish references to the whole series very well done, I did enjoy the Second half of the "Owarimonogatari" Arc a bit more.
"Owarimonogatari" had more emotional gravity to the closing episodes, and the sudden revelation and growth it had hit a deeper note. Maybe had I given myself some time between the "Official end" and this afterwards it would have resonated more, but regardless it's worth watching and adds to the characters.
My only regret is that this appears to be the end of one of the most exceptional anime's I've ever watched.
