This one really hits the necessary thresholds for a great movie imo: Keeps you interested, well paced, beautiful cinematography, not overbearing, and well directed. The film has some edge to it which is surprising from an indy family-friendly movie. Like other great romances like Han and Leia, Jack Burton and Gracie Law, Westley and Buttercup, and even Ash and Sheila, Jack and Olivia are a fun couple to cheer for. The beauty of Wyoming and Utah are jaw dropping to say the least, and the film crew did a fabulous job with the set/wardrobe/script. The score and the acting are a perfect pairing. One of the best parts of the movie are the comedic genius and family friendly humor. Take a chance on this one! It's worth it.

Such a breath of fresh air. Fun western shot in beautiful Wyoming. Lots of variety in shooting locations so there were many stunning views of an amazing state. Loved Chaco. He had perfect delivery and great expressions. All actors did an amazing job. The wedding had lots of cute kids as extras. The audience and I thoroughly enjoyed the whole movie - it was funny and clever and wholesome. I don't attend many movies anymore due to content but this is a great little Indy film appropriate for the whole family. The music score was perfect and I was impressed with how well it fit the characters and script. I highly recommend this for anyone who enjoys a well written movie.
Great story with some pretty dang good actors. The cinematography was on point with some breathtaking shots of Wyoming, the music was simple, cute, and brought all the feels of a nostalgic western, and the story was engaging. While there were one or two spots where the audio didn't seem to match up, it didn't detract from the story. The main antagonist did so good, I wish there was a bigger back story on him.
Grab your family, even the little ones, grab your popcorn and favorite drinks, and sit down to enjoy this fun western that will have even little kids laughing out loud. My favorite character was Jerry, so funny and genuine.

I must confess, I'm not a fan of country genre. I searched "Romantic/Comedy" to which this title was the first available on one of my subscribed/free Accts on my Roku.
To me, it was seemingly predictable for the first 18.50 minutes. After that moment it appeared to have a fresh air about it and began to take off. I also really liked the light-hearted quirky music that was running through the movie. The plot was simple and there was sub-plot upon many more sub-plots. All leading the main character, Jack back to his intended girl, Olivia by way of another main plot of finding the hidden treasure in the mountains. There's definitely some surprises along the way. But there's mayhem afoot from all Jack's deceptive ways and the conceits that soon take hold... where will it lead him and what trouble will he have to find his way out from? Will he learn any life lessons along the way?
But don't forget... there's a villain.
It's a light-hearted and pleasant movie to watch. A great distresser after a hectic day.
Unexpectedly, I enjoyed this movie.

If you go to see this movie with low expectations, you're sure to be pleasantly surprised. It is a family friendly but far from boring look at some very interesting characters, especially Chaco and Edna May, who definitely steal the show. You might expect wooden performances since there are no "big name" stars, but the actors were very professional. Since it was filmed in Wonderful Wyoming, the scenery is, well, a scene stealer. The storyline is thoughtful and leaves the viewer with a satisfied feeling upon exiting the theater. I might add that the music which accompanied the movie was amazing, and rivals anything from a Hollywood studio. All in all, his is a very likable movie and will satisfy your cravings for a good western.
