Reverse is a parking-hall ghost story built around an intriguing idea: what if the various sensors in modern cars could detect a ghostly presence? I've seen reverse cameras used to hint at something malicious in other shorts-like in an Alien fan film-but Reverse takes it a step further by incorporating a broader range of in-car technology. Surprisingly, this approach makes the story even scarier, as the otherworldly presence is invisible to the naked eye. Personally, I would have preferred to keep it that way until the very end, but I can understand the creative choices the director made.
