    An orgasm for my eyes

I have always loved beauty and aesthetics in all its forms and watching The Forbidden Fashion about Roberto Capucci and his friends from Anna Fendi to Raina Kabaivanska, was an ecstasy, an orgasm for my eyes. These dresses are not goods but an excellence that honors Italy in the world. Works of art and, as psychoanalyst Claudio Widman explains, in its special content, it is clear that beauty becomes a cure for the psyche.

    Sogno, fantasia, emozioni. E futuro

Roberto Capucci has a wonderful gift. Unique. Being timeless, as is his creativity. His works, of this we speak not of clothes created only to cover, are the result of the imagination of a complete artist. This can frighten you as you approach your work. To his works. Making them inaccessible. Prohibited. Only on the surface. His imagination actually has no coordinates of time and space, borders of inspiration is able to touch the soul of each generation. Thus the film from the imaginative editing of Ottavio Rosati: "The forbidden fashion. Roberto Capucci and the future of Haute Couture", well tells these aspects of the imaginative world of Capucci. In particular, it highlights how one of the fathers of Haute Couture in the broadest sense of the word and of the very concept of Made in Italy excellence is an inspiration without seasons for the new generations, not only of stylists, but also of designers and artists of every discipline. When you look at "Forbidden Fashion" you discover Capucci, you discover the creative power of Italy, the potential of new generations. But you can also dream. With a pinch of the right irony, with a lot of emotion. Gian Luca Bauzano

A wonderful film by director Ottavio Rosati

A wonderful union of art, fashion and cinema. A wonderful tribute to the great genius of Italian fashion Roberto Capucci

    Dream

The cross-section of an Italian artist not only of an italian stylist. I found myself in the words of Capucci when he says that for a woman the real beauty is not in the surgical or photoshop retouching. After the vision of the film, I recalled a dream I had months before, where I refused the clothes of a singer and of a scientist in order to reach my own style, my beauty and my identity. A Michelangelo of the fashion world

A fresh and intense look at the work of Capucci and his incredible art. Amazing.

    • Trivia
One of the strengths of La Moda Proibita is the animation of the imaginary characters designed by Capucci who (thanks to the computer animation of the young editor Filippo Orrù) fly like goblins, between the frames. The characters follow the movements of the eyes of Capucci who, during the interviews, roamed in the environment detaching from those of his interlocutors. Naturally, the viewer has the opposite impression: that the couturier is behind his images and ghosts. Which, from the psychoanalytic point of view, is also true.
    • Quotes

Roberto Capucci: I am 82 years old, I am not a child and I am more enthusiastic now than before because before everything was easy, - now, however, I have to confront this world which is completely different from the time when I started out. Now I have more determination, more desire to get it done, more desire to work.

    • Crazy credits
During the exhibition "In Search of royalty" at the "Venaria Reale" in Turin, Plays did not get permission to move some clothes in the park to make 3D shots in steady. At that point Fabrizio Capucci, Roberto's brother, made his villa available on the Appia where the foundation brought ten of the Master's most famous creations. The most important was "Oceano" that the managers of the Foundation placed on a sheet of plating with a thousand cautions to prevent the silk from getting wet. After the sequence started, a white bunny jumped out of the dress, peeing just a few centimeters away from Oceano. Rosati did not interrupt the shooting. In the film, the pet appears together with the title of the film as a metaphor for the courage to do something forbidden. Plays thanks Fabrizio Capucci for his hospitality and the rabbit for his courage.
