First I will say I am biased because a family member filmed this movie. It's quite unfortunate that this movie is not there. The dialogue sounds like a bunch of npc's in a poorly made video game. The plot doesn't seem to fully be thought threw. I enjoyed watching this keeping in mind that it is a small company making it. But I can't get my mind off the fact that the audio is terrible. Another issue that presents itself is the fact that the actors are unfortunately terrible. I've seen college film finals with better acting in it. The characters don't match the vibe of the voice a bit. Not a single emotion is showed while the actors are talking. Unfortunate that this movie turned out this way because I know the people who made it. Another thing to add is that it is labeled as a horror movie yet in the first hour nothing scary happens that anyone who watches horror movies would call scary. The ghost showed itself a few times yet it's a little too predictable. Overall, this company has made better movies in the past, unfortunately this one is not any good.
Okay, I'm 10 minutes in and I have issues. This movie is very short, and part of that time is a long opening credits without storyline.
The movie starts with a girl finding out her roommate is dead and has been for "a day or two" - most people may not realize this and I'm sorry to ruin it for you, but trust me, as soon as a body dies, it begins to decay and soon after it starts to SMELL. After "at least a day" unless the room had zero air flow into the apartment she would have noticed. There might even already be flies. Add the annoying sounds of car horns outside during the otherwise soft spoken short police interview and JT appears the windows are open, which means the AC is NOT running (at least it's not heat on?) but I just wish if you're going to do a B- Horror movie which typically appeals to a certain crowd, do some minimal research please.
Also, once the roommate says "I don't know, I didn't know her that well" they ask an even more personal question. That's just lazy writing.
The acting is flat. Everyone is deadpan in an emotional situation. One scene with some hysterical hyperventilation is it. I was annoyed long before the by the expressway that must run in front of this apartment based on the horns that go all night long.
Sadly, it had potential. It's why I gave it two stars. The actual plot of the movie which ends in the middle with its mediocre twist (which to not spoil it, I'll just say, maybe it will give her more personality?) and unfinished cliffhanger are just not worth the 73 minutes of flatline phone conversations and horns honking. I'm fine with minimalism when done well... This was just DOA.

Right, well of course I opted to watch this 2022 horror movie as I stumbled upon it. After all, I have been a horror fan ever my early teenage years.
I hadn't heard about "The Dead Girl in Apartment 03" prior to watching it, so I wasn't sure what to expect from writer and director Kurtis Spieler. So every chance to impress and entertain was readily available.
30 minutes into the ordeal and I am bored to tears. Wow, talk about a snoozefest of epic proportions. This movie was a massive swing and a miss, and it just fell entirely short of capturing my interesting. Watching boring monotonous dialogue hardly constitutes being proper entertainment when I sit down to watch a movie.
The only thing that was scary in "The Dead Girl in Apartment 03" was the absolute sheer boredom that permeated the movie in every scene. The whole movie was just so incredibly slow paced that I was losing more and more interest in it with each passing minute.
I wasn't familiar with the cast ensemble that participated in the making of this movie, but it was a real shame that the actors and actresses were given nothing worthwhile to work with in terms of script, storyline, dialogue or characters.
This movie is not something I will return to watch the rest of. 30 minutes of literally nothing was more than enough to scare me away. And this is definitely not a movie that I would recommend for horror fans to sit down and watch. Some of us suffered through this ordeal in greater or shorter length, so you don't have to.
I am rating "The Dead Girl in Apartment 03" a very generous two out of ten stars, and that is based on the production value of the movie entirely.

It was bad. Absolutely nothing to see here. I hate I'm required to write anything. I'd rather be nice and say nothing more. It was extremely dark and I believe that's a tactic to keep you either interested or not knowing how cheap the set/production is. There is no explanation as to what happened. Just a couple plot ideas thrown into a pot. The audio is weird. Sounds like it was added after filming and laid over it. The actors weren't great, but in their defense they didn't have much to work with. I hope there was more to this and the best was left on the cutting room floor that we'll never get to see.
This movie honestly felt like a film-making student's graduation project. A lot of the things were really weak. The dialogue, story, scenario, even some of the actor's acting.. I of course appreciate and respect the crew's hard work, time, money, and effort they've put in, and I think it was mainly the Director\writer's responsibility to fix the weaknesses in this movie, or invest these resources to create a better story\write a better scenario. It's rated as a horror movie but nothing even moderately scary happened until minute 53 out of a movie that's 1hour 12 minutes long, except for 3 or 4 scenes that show the ghost for a few seconds! The end was very predictable and unexciting. The atmosphere of the movie was uncomfortable in a good way if anything. However, for me, it wasn't scary. I really hope the people who worked on the movie take this review as constructive criticism and a way to fix these problems in future projects because it wasn't intended to be any other way and I believe they have the potential to do so much better.
