    I am enthralled

WOW! I felt creeped out from the first scene to the last. I did feel sympathy for the family and the stupid they have to endure. I feel like there is SO much more to what is going on and I want to know what it is. The obvious racism is to distract from the underlying creepy issue. Do not let it distract you. I cannot give anything away. You MUST watch it for yourself. This was labeled as a black voice show. It is a creepy show. The main actors are black. I did not watch it because it was black voice. I watched it because it looked interesting. I am glad I did. My family and I love it.

    Stay Away From My Home!!!!!

Okay I guess I can forgive them for the fail Patti Labelle version of over the Rainbow to start. Doesn't beat Judy Garland's version any day.

So A Black Family in the 50s moves to Compton CA.

    Hilarity Ensues.

But theres some kind of creepy horror vibe when the little git sees a dark figure in the new house. After this encounter, little girl is either possessed or half crazy.

Ruh Roh their dog has been murdered!!

And Mommy has a crazed moment out in front of her House.

I liked the end. Challenge??? Accepted????

I'll give 2 stars to the ending. 7/10.

    Started with a bang

A lot people are tired of stories of racism against black people but the racism is still prevalent everywhere. It is not an american problem but the world suffers from Pre-conceived notions about people from other races. The visuals and the background score are really creepy especially the White lady in the beginning at the end. A Good start . Looking forward.

    Creepy and skin crawling

Great start to the series. It gives a creepy feeling right from the start. Made me think how would I feel I was in their shoes as the new family moving in to a new town. It made my skin crawl.

    Nothing special...yet!

I'm not seeing what's so special so far...but I've only watched the first episode. So this review and score is for episode 1 only.

As I say, there's nothing special about this episode.

Thought I was watching 'Us' half of the time.

    Hopefully, future episodes get better.

    • Trivia
The blue jumper that Gracie, the youngest daughter, wears in the first episode strongly resembles the dress that Ruby Bridges wore on her first day of school. Likewise, Gracie's older sister is named Ruby and is ostracized on her own first day at the local school.
    • Goofs
Several of the radios that the women have on the tables in the street are obviously table models that would need to be plugged in to function.
