Easter Land

Bought and downloaded this for my 2yo and 5yo to watch on the Easter weekend because imdb rating was above 6/10 (more than Hop). Think there must be confusion with another film, no way anyone could rate this more than 1/10.

Omg 😱!!! The best movie ever. You can say anything about it, but it is the best. If it costs about 1000 dollars buy it you will really how good it is do not watch hop. Watch this every day of the week the best movie ever our favorite part is then the guy says it's far and you're fat..oh my it is such an amazing movie. The animation is like out of nightmare before Christmas so this movie should not have bad reviews, only good reviews, really good reviews. Can you believe there was an Easterland 2? It is basically the movie in reverse. So you can never get enough or this amazing movie. Enjoy it is so good.

Easter Land has been made in the spirit of the 1960s Holiday classics of Arthur Rankin Jr & Jules Bass. The animation is cute but primitive digital. Would have been better in stop motion. Overall very well done.

This is really bad in so many ways. The animation is very bad. The mouths don't come close to matching the words coming out of the characters. The characters pass through background scenery when in motion). The villains are Bad Clyde, a wart hog, and his minions -- Frizzlebun (a rat) and Frizzlebutt (an owl). Bad Clyde speaks with an odd Scottish acccent that really sounds more like someone mimicking Mike Myer's Scottish accent. His plan is to ruin Easter for everyone and get rid of Benny the Easter Bunny forever. Santa and his reindeer sidekick, Gargaff, must save the day. There's lots of dialog and not much action. Most scenes just show characters speaking to each other. Lots of annoying background music that's looped and adds nothing to the scene. Many of the scenes are repeated again and again with new dialog (again, there's no actual action beyond characters walking a short way -- it's just connected scenes of characters talking). With the poor script and bad animation, this would have been a long 25 minutes. Somehow, they managed to stretch it out to 70 minutes.

The biggest crime is that I can't give this a 0/10.

Even the premise of this movie is like something out of a bad fever dream.

An evil warthog, and owl, and a rat, want to ruin Easter by using an invisible magic Easter egg to make "Benny the Easter Bunny" go to the land of misfit holiday creatures?? Then Santa and his trusty reindeer sidekick Gargaff have to save the day?? Who dreamed this garbage up and actually convinced someone to produce it?!

The animation is legitimately some of the worst I have ever seen. As mentioned in other reviews, the mouths don't sync up with the dialogue. Add to that the fact that the characters randomly move around and gesture incoherently, and this is an actual struggle to get through.

I love a bad movie as much as the next person, but this is almost too much.

I don't think that the people who rated this higher than 1/10 knew what they were doing when they rated the movie.

Do not watch this movie. You could spend your time better by watching paint dry.
