Himote House

This series is centred on three members of the Himote family; sisters Tokiyo, Kinami, and Kokoro, their friends Tae and Minamo and a cat. They live together in the titular Himote House. Early on we learn that each of the characters have special powers. This isn't a series about magical powers though; it is just about the conversations the characters have.

At first sight I thought I wouldn't enjoy this series; the 3D animation style doesn't feel like 'proper anime' and the story didn't appear to be going anywhere. Soon I started to be amused though; the character's conversations often didn't seem to be going anywhere but somehow they were very amusing. It also had a degree of the surreal... at one point it even made a dry conversation about crypto-currency sound erotic! Overall this won't be for everybody but I'd recommend giving it a chance as it is surprisingly funny.
