Dull

A messy businessman has a messy home. His neighbors have a neat and clean home, with well behaved children who do their own chores without hectoring.

It' another of the short films that used to show up in school rooms during that period after the final exams but before being released for vacation. I had never heard of producer/director Edward Simmel before. He produced and directed a few shorts like this and how to serve tea, did some television work, and then vanished.

What is on view is a very simple bit of film making, not far advanced from the "Goofus and Gallant" strip that I used to read in HIGHLIGHTS magazine more than sixty years ago.
