Lucas the Spider

Beautifully animated, heartwarming, cute, and innocent! Great how each 1 minute episode is about a different friend. Just purely wonderful all around!

We initially put Lucas the Spider on for our young son as we were looking for an appropriate TV show he could watch occasionally. He absolutely loves it, and now my partner and I are hooked. It's on in our household so often that I can recite most episodes! It's such a cute TV show, the characters are really wholesome, and it's actually funny (there's bits of adult humour sprinkled in that would go over a child's head). Each episode has a nice lesson for children, and the theme tune is really catchy. I would highly recommend to parents of younger children. Plenty of episodes to watch, whether on YouTube or Netflix / NowTV.

I've watched lucas since the beginning (youtube) and introduced him to my grandchildren! Hes so adorable! I'm a bit sad that they didn't keep the original voice actor as that was partly why I adore this little spider (and why I've only given 8 stars) His antics in his TV show are still cute though. His friends are also cute. I bought his talking plushy and one of my grandchildren wanted him, so I bought another one just for him. Did I say he was adorable?! It's so nice to see something, having watched from the inception grow to something that now has an international televised show. One thing though, I wonder where the "polar bear" is? Iykyk! 😉

This is my three-year old's favorite show currently. It has a catchy intro and appealing theme. The storyline is unstructured, and it is easy to pick up and follow. The characters are funny and have their own quirks that add to the show. The episodes are not too long so my son can easy watch one before lunch and put the screen down to enjoy his meal. It is light-hearted content and simple. The characters voices are a highlight from what I noticed. This along with Gabby's Dollhouse are the two main shows my three-year-old enjoys. In terms of what each episode is about, it seems to be relatable as my son does not act out and say, he saw it in the show. Recommend giving this a go for your young ones.

I been watching Lucas for so long. Me and my kids love him. I can wait to see it in a real movie or a series.
