It has everything for seduce. Humor - in large nuances -, good performances and nice subject, fantastic realism and a story mixing traditions and irony about politics. And, sure, a fascinating subject, romantic, off course, defined in pure Italian style. So, just lovely.
Charming fairy tale with magical realism touches. There's a wry, sardonic perspective on geopolitics, just what we need right now. I won't give away the "plot" - too convoluted and bizarre to really explain. Just watch it unfold before you, and smile and smile.
The thing that attracted me to the movie was that it stars Lazar Ristovski from Serbia and I am Serbian, while the movie is Italian. So, I figured, why not see it.
There was a funny scene when someone was driving a small truck and then there was a donkey, and the person inside the truck kept on blowing the horn for the donkey to move... And the truck and the donkey both just stood there, in place, and there was nothing or no one for miles around. The driver could have easily gone around the donkey.
This could also be a parody of Sardinian men.
Nothing happens in this movie. If there is a plot, it just drags on and on.
It's been a while since I have seen such a long, boring movie.
Maybe I did not understand the point. Could be.
I gave up after half of the movie.

- GoofsThe title of the movie says that someone "bought" the Moon. However, in the actual movie, that character describes how he gained the ownership of the Moon by using it over a long period of time without anybody else objecting to it - this is known as "usucaption". Usucaption is a distinct way of gaining ownership over things that is in many ways the exact opposite of buying/purchase. Purchase is a contract in which one party transfers ownership over a thing to another party in exchange for money. This would imply that the Moon had a previous owner who voluntarily gave it away in exchange for money, which never happens in the actual movie.
