An Oscar winner it's not but it's fun to watch. Plots from 5-6 movies all slammed together in an adventure for the ages. It's a battle of the human race and the bots might rule but you'll have to watch to find out.
Whoever made this movie should be ashamed of themselves worse thing ever and I've seen some bad movies... The dollar store should put pics of these people and stop them from get their props....
Oh dear, a movie 67 minutes long and what a fine story. Damn what a worthless piece of garbage this is, no it's awfull! My final score is below zero...
The movie is beautifuly shot.
Danielle Donahue gives 100%.
Elements are obvious ripoff, but passable.
The robots look magnificient (costumes?).
The problem is the script. Without effort this could have been an entertaining movie, easy 5-6/10, even 7/10 with a good script, and stuff for the actors to do.
There is simply nothing happening, the buildup of the Emperor leads nowhere, and we got the same 1 robot fight 3 times. The script is just LAZY. I've noticed Polonia tends to create his films around the effect instead of the story, and this is clearly visible here. Needed more stroy and more robot fights. Never seen any giant robot movie, or kaiju film? Here is a hint: put wires on the robots so you can rip those off! Give rocket-launchers to the humans to help with the fight! Send in the drones so the humans have something to while the robots fight!
I give everyone in this the credit, but the direction and the script gets and F.

This is a really fun B movie by Mark Polonia, much like many of his other films, Robowar pays tribute to many sci-fi and genre films while creating a new engaging and entertaining story. While the movie its obviously quite low budget, that never actually stops it from delivering some good mecha action with actors on robot suits fighting, some really cool villians and likable characters that work really well on this cheesy, charming and fun no-budget flick.
Recommended for modern day B movie fans, if you like microbudget sci-fi or if you are a Mark Polonia fan you should truly watch this one.
