Good plot / poor acting

The movie gives a brief information about the war at Canakkale and points fingers to unknown heroes of the war and their tragedy. Though having a plot upon war, the movie supports humanitarian thoughts and peace. The movie was good overall, but needed better acting especially from the Turkish actors. Some used words were much more recent than the years plot took place which caused an artificial athmosphere to the movie. I recommend this movie to be watched, but not with great expectations.

A BIG LIE OR AN EPIC HERO STORY?

Turk Isi Dondurma is last film of producer Mustafa Uslu. Its director is Can Ulkay. I think they made a great job on production. Set design, costumes, filming places... They all are good. Storytelling is a bit disorganised but it is not so bad either. It is okay for standards of Turkish Cinema. Especially, I liked funny tone of movie. I didn't expect that. On the other hand, movie says this story is a fiction which inspired from a real one. There are so many speculations on it. I don't know the truth but as a film, it is worth to see it at least for Ali Atay and Erkan Kolcak. Both of them are amazing. Also final sequence is amazing too.

Ps: After Cicero, it is great to see foreign actors on roles of foreign characters.

Perfection!

I can't believe how low rated this is. It shows how people's race is not important at all because it's all about being a good person. It's funny, sad and instructive at the same time. Ending makes everything even better. I cried my eyes out. Thank you for this masterpiece.
