Morbid

I was a bit apprehensive at for the fact, as an ex-funeral arranger myself for a well known company wondered, could a sitcom about a family funeral directors work, well how wrong was I the comic timings of all the cast, the writers Micheal Dee & Elric Cadwallader have created what I think could become a fantastic series for tv, with the added bonus of having a little fun showing the lighter side of funerals & the funeral business. Very well done

I recently watched this on YouTube. Looking at all of the positive comments I was really intrigued and thought it looked promising, how wrong I was.

The plot of this situational comedy is the takeover of a successful undertaking business following the untimely death of its owners. The business passes down to the inexperienced, uninvolved and grown children of the now deseased owners. This pilot episode focuses on their blunders and mishaps in attempting to keep the business afloat.

The positives here is that the concept is a very good one, however, the cons are that unfortunately it is poorly executed. The production is decent, good camera, good sound as should be expected, but the script is poorly written and its just not funny. Additionally the acting is terrible! I mean really hammy by the whole cast!

I initially placed a review in the comments section of the YouTube video itself but it would seem that the production team cannot take honest critique and it has since been deleted so I would expect that it will happen here also. If not then I hope this helps other readers to not waste a good 45 minutes of their lives that they won't ever get back.
