The Dark Side of Life: Mumbai City

It is one of a kind film, It's something which not everyone will understand. The film is made for a very specific audience but in a way it relates to everyone and their lives. A multi-plotted story which has so many pipelines, a complex subject to cover but the director has left no loopholes. I like the film because it relates to the condition of so many people.

The first half is a little slow, but after the interval the film is superb and it is tight in the 2nd half, there's a shocking change. It is a pretty great film and I urge you guys to watch the film. Because it's different cinema, People of India must understand Everything and Everywhere , Romance and Comedy can't be a part of every film. And people like to make different stuff. I love this, from songs to the last frame it's a treat and absolute reality of life.

"Wish to live but trying to die"... Around 800000 people commit suicide each year in the world...of which more than 15% suicides happen in india .. fortunately,India is not top in the list of the nations with higher suicide rates .. however, surprisingly, suicide rate is higher in south and east India. Today's pick is *The Dark Side of Life - Mumbai city* ... good storyline, great performance by Mahesh Bhatt, could have delved deeper to build all the stories... quite a grim movie but superb music. Very melodious songs, great lyrics.. The movie ends with this ... "Let me live few moments on my own, as I have walked thus far as per your wish, O life"

This movie shows how Mahesh bhatt can murder a decent script . Even a 9 year old can direct better then the guy .

Well, the dark side of Mumbai City had everything to offer except the dark side or bright side of Mumbai City. Whoever made this deserves to be shot straight into the sun. Save yourself from those 2 hours of torture or you might end up in a diabetic coma.

Mahesh bhatt acting is the worst. Kay kay menon is known for his acting skills, even the film made him to act very bad.
