The movie was hilarious. I really liked. It may be hard to capture the comedy for non spanish speakers because nothing is ever translated perfectly but I loved it. Totally my type of comedy.
Gary Marks, who wrote the "original screenplay" for My Boyfirend's Meds / Las Pildoras de mi Novio, stole $27,000.00 from me on my 36th birthday, April 7, 1994. I'm now nearly 62, and I'd really like to get my money back, so please see this movie, because I'm filing suit in court and liening the gross proceeds. Thank you!
Very funny. Mostly in Spanish with subtitles so i think that is going to greatly affect english and spanish speaking/understanding audience differently. For the record, mental illness is a part of my family and I did not find this insulting. I died laughing with the curandero scene.
I laughed a lot with my mom:) Some of the quotes and phrases used were so unexpectedly funny..We had a good time and laughed on the car ride home after..
