Love the Writing...Hate the Gratuitious Profanity and Sex

Wife and I loved the show through Season 2. Season 3...not so much. The storyline is terrific and the writing is amazingly insightful. But why, oh why, do we have to have the F bombs and explicit sex shoved down our throats? Why does "entertainment" have to be offensive to be considered good. I'd probably watch Season 4 if there is one, but wife will not...so I probably won't either. Grow up, people! There's no reason for a show with so many good qualities and such a thought-provoking message to be spoiled by titillation with totally unnecessary filth.

    Decent Ending

I guess this ended pretty well. There is something that was withheld that put a damper on the celebration. I'm sure that if there is a fourth season, there will be some questions to answer. I did enjoy the President's last comment to the camera. Emily is becoming a real mess and could be quite a liability down the road. There is also another soap opera element tacked on too.

Ok lacked the punch of S1&2

Great cast but lacked the pace and intelligence of the first 2. The social issue inclusions were in your face, like the premise and a go at mainstream politics but this season seemed to be preaching rather than engaging.

    This show...

I loved this show, right up until they got rid of Maggie O (Hannah Wells). I lost some interest at the end of Season 2 when staple members of the cast simply disappeared with no explanation. But the exit of Hannah Wells ended it for me. And then the series died a quick and agonizing death.

    Season Final

I loved this series. Pity some characters didn't make it to the final curtain but a great story nonetheless. If another season were to emerge then I would love to see a web of concealed intel that the WH squares up to between the FBI and CIA. I thought the lead characters were outstanding!! Bring on more seasons !!

Anthony Edwards character Mars Harper has the line "Gotcha!", obviously referring to the movie of the same name from 1985 in which Edwards played the lead and as part of a game where the line was shouted numerous times.
