I don't understand people who just watch it and said that what the main lead character did was normal
She is absolutely abnormal girl selfish and she broke his heart many times
Specially the second time for no reason she wanted to break up with him even she made it clear that the second male character the Doctor is not the one that she will leave her boyfriend for but when she showed up with him at the third time i was really disappointed
I cant imagin that there is some people out there have the same character as the main lead girl
She ripped his heart she confused him she made him hasitated and inconvinent she put him in a very bad comparison and decide to stape him in the soul
Hate ESOM for that.
Boy tears got me a nightmares.

This was a surprise as it was the reverse of the usual K drama where the beginning is strong & the writing tends to weaken towards the end. I thought by the beginning this was going to be a fairly light, predictable romcom. I didn't even want to see how they met & that perm off his. But the second half of the series proved a bit more challenging with the subject matter - illness, death, guilt, mental health crises. I cried in parts which is a bit unusual for K dramas. The ending was not all neatly tied up. I didn't mind that as it was a departure to the everything works out scenario.
I got interested in this due to the ML, Seo Kang-joon, who I enjoyed in When the Weather is Fine. He has a certain presence about him. I thought the FL became stronger towards the end.
I particularly enjoyed the role of the friend from the salon, but the plastic surgeon looked like he had had too much work done & was a bit expressionless. The sister character was quite offensive how she treated her partner. Why do strong females have to become male versions?
I watched it to the end & felt that the mental health issues were dealt with realistically.

I just watched this drama in Netflix. In early stage looks like typical romantic comedy, then turn out a dark, frustrating psychological tragedy.which is boring and tiring. I always like to watch Esom, and she was really good in this drama as well. In supporting roles, Park gyu young and. Lee Yoon ji deserved very big applauds. Editing is so complex, sometimes Iost totally. To many repeats, to many clichè acts...But i like the songs especially the Rap one in last episode. In last few episodes the leading male character's mood and behaviour made the people frustrate I guess And it was really boring. Anyway, this is another ordinary k-drama. If you still did nit watch, that is OK. No worries. You didn't miss anything.
It is excellent, the protagonists are excellent too. I've liked very much a male role different. The series is underrated. The problem is that's too much "realistic" to be comedy. This is a drama about a romance, the persistence of jealousy and insecurity problems that both protagonists show, seem like they are teenagers rather than contemporary adults. The audience is not prepared to see such kind of existential confusion. As said, is not a romantic series with an easy happy ending. Thus, when the public read confident the description and its categorization as such "comedy" and "romantic"...
it seemed as a huge disappointment and disrespect, of course!
The message of this drama is great that you need to have same level of confidence in a relatonship. And to have it, you need to be the best version of you.
