I'll break down why it's so bad
1. The acting is on par with your kids preschool Christmas play
2. Every character sucks
3. Movies like this are why found footage movies are rarely take seriously
First I'm a found footage fanatic who will watch any found footage movie once and there are some really well done micro budget found footage movies out there (children of sorrow, chasing the devil, ) but this was embarrassing I'm passing this on to Mike bill and Kevin at rifftrax to see if they can make it worth watching. Because honestly this is probably one of the worst found footage movies I've ever seen.
The title, HUMAN HIBACHI, and poster should give you a pretty good idea that you're in for one gory, depraved ride. And on that trip, this low-budget indie really delivers.
But wait! There's more. Fans of dark, twisted humor will enjoy this one. I generally don't like horror-comedy, but it works here.
HUMAN HIBACHI is shot in found-footage style and off the top of my head I can't think of another demented gorefest that does the same. A couple films that the story reminds me are the excellent CANNIBAL FARM and THE BUTCHER (dir Michael Moutsatsos).
Is HUMAN HIBACHI a perfect film? Not by any measure. But is it a sick, bloody, fun 90mins? Hell ya. It's an entertaining film, ideal for late nights, that I'd recommend to anyone who isn't too squeamish. 6/10 stars

The whole cast was great but the best thing about this Comedy/Horror film is the acting by Katie Williams (Elizabeth Gaynor).
Granted, Human Hibachi is indie to the bone, but that's one of the things that make it the perfect Midnight Movie. That film that was on late night cable that you randomly changed the channel to and then couldn't stop watching it. That's a by product of good writing and a filmmaker that the industry hasn't discovered yet, but inevitably will. As of this writing, Human Hibachi has been picked up by Troma. A perfect fit. By the title, it may be indicative of what you're getting yourself into, but be prepared for plot twists, duplicitousness, conspiracy, and a really visceral ride of elitism and betrayal. You won't soon forget it.
What in the world did I just watch? Sometime you have to trust your instincts and I didn't, I read the reviews and I am paying for it. Just wander what other reviewers have watched?! Horrible acting, low production value and harisma that only a dead horse can portray. Stay away from this one like a plague.
AWFUL!!!!
