Just saw this movie tonight at the Whistler Film Festival. The plot is hilarious and very entertaining, and the cello music throughout the movie is amazing! Well done!
The brilliantly talented, real life twin brothers who play the lead characters are the life and soul of this entertaining, sporadically funny crime thriller. The music they play throughout really supports the story and informs you about their characters too. There are some violent moments but the film is mostly a light-hearted indie crime caper movie. Loads of fun.
This is such a laughable facsimile of what people think Hamilton is. This Ain't Hollywood, Sherman Ave N and James St N do not a gritty environ make. The plot is ok, the acting was forced and it wasn't even clear whether they were supposed to be in Hamilton or Vancouver. Gave up 40min in. Waste of time.
A fun mash up; difficult to label. Great soundtrack, solid writing, great pacing, extremely entertaining! Totally worth the time. A very impressive film.
I wish i could find this movie online for free, but i can't! 1 star.
EDIT: I FOUND IT ON CRAVE!
It's almost as if the director found two people that can play cello, and tried to write an entire movie around them but came up short.
Also, I never learned what they would do for money and the older Yaguchi brother looks like Dollar Tree Nicholas Cage
Verdict: Crummy, but yummy. :3.
