Jaded

Jaded.

This show demonstrated the way normal life is for gay men in San Francisco or perhaps anywhere in gay friendly countries. It was of course a compression of reality and when this guy in the gym said we broke because you cheated on me, he inferred that cheating is a meaningless judgement in modern gay life, of course he is wrong. All romantic relationships are based on trust and permissions, to "cheat" undermines that trust, and therefore if you cherish the relationship you don't cheat, even if you might get away with it, as you would know!

The character is jaded as he lacks anything meaningful in his life and is like a butterfly going from plant to plant rather than immersing himself in anything.

Lastly the show showed all the problems of choice but failed to arrive at any solutions to arrive a better outcomes. I did enjoy it, it was well acted and well written and I did laugh, but it needed more focus !

I'm giving this a 6 outta 10, it is well worth watching!
