Orbital Redux

I'm a huge sci-fi fan and Orbital Redux satisfies me on that level -- the world, characters and plot hits the mark. But, it is the way in which it was made that takes Orbital to the next level. This show was filmed in ONE TAKE. The effects and music were executed on the fly as well. This giant undertaking creates a tone that I've never seen before. Their process of creation is as important as their product and I respect that so much. Congrats.

Terrific conceit, and you can feel the genuine talent and care behind this series. A lot of fun. Also produced with groundbreaking methods with audience voting at key plot points through the branching narrative. Worth it.

The fact that this was done live and in one take is one thing. The acting is top notch, the production design is great, but honestly above all else its a solid sci-fi story. Someone needs to give these people more seasons.

You can tell right away the love and care that went into making this show. From a great talent playing very well fleshed out characters. By the end of season1 you'll be wanting more and more. GREAT for rewatchability as well! From wholesome laughs to emotional tear jerker moments to on the edge of your seat suspense and all in one take too! Definitely one of kind. Must watch.

Firstly, the world of the show is dynamically compelling as it introduces unique circumstances/reality while also weaving in internal narratives. This show clearly has a lot of material that is yet to climax profoundly, and I look forward to see how the series ties together the internal and external features of the plot. The witty banter and acting is very realistic! It's actually fun to witness character relationships, because the dialogue is fun! Again, I look forward to this series, because it's not just a hollow attempt of using a galactic theme and spacecraft circumstances as a source of primary entertainment. There is a sense of life here- it's very "real world" induced.
