Boring film about the boring life of a very boring man who has a boring phone ringtone

Well filmed, well acted, well directed, but terrible script: it is a movie about nothing. Indeed, it is a boring film about the boring life of a very boring man who has a boring phone ringtone. He is dysfunctional, cannot keep a friendship, work, or establish a love affair. That is shown through dialogs which seem the expected for drunk people although there are sober ones who have it. He wants to stay alone researching something we only know because of the abstract, as director never shows it. On the other hand, his feet are shown a lot throughout the movie (although the metaphor seems quite irônica, as he is just the opposite). I am very sleepy now... The man could not stop time, but you rather accelerate it while watching the movie.
