The genius of quirk, peculiar and unconventional settings and characters, the great David Lynch sort of used of those devices to present his
take on this Parisienne cigarettes ad. Shown through a slow-motion backwards act revolving on fishes falling from the skies after a heavy rain as
observed by two black gas station workers, and apparently one of them can make fire with his hands. It's all very abstract and enigmatic, fun to look
at it (great editing and effects technique) but one expects either some bizarre horror/action or a musical number as Mr. Lynch used to create in some of his
memorable films. With the selling we got, one can envision the brand as magical, miraculous or full of unusual expectations. 7/10.
