You can't expect a cliché movie like this to become a hit, it's simply terrible, in the end if you are just going to give us a lesson, please understand we are not some school students who needs these lessons, so if you are planning to watch a movie, better change it and don't watch it

Direction: There were huge expectations from debutant director Prashant Singh as he is coming with some new concept. However he failed to maintain the momentum in the second half. First half was somewhat better and entertaining one.

Performances: "Hasee toh Phasee" famed jodi paired as Jabariya jodi this time. Both were good in their characters till first half. In second half, they lost the track. Some great performances by supporting star cast. Javed Jaffrey did good job as Hukun Dev Singh. Sanjay Mishra was good in the role of Duniya Lal. Aparshakti Khurana did another good supporting role as Santosh AKA Sanno.

Script: Sanjeev K jha came from Bihari background so he want to use local issue of Groom kidnaping as central idea of his script. Topic wise script was good in chunks, not as whole. After interval, script was running in rounds and round look like you will get the flavor of daily soap.

Music: Again creativity issue with music section as lack of originality. Two old superhit songs "Khadke Glassy" and "Zila Hilela" reprised by various music directors and singers.

Box-Office: On opening day it has earned 3.15 crores. On 2nd day, slight jump due to weekend and it has earned 4.25 crores. Life time collection will be in the range of 30-35 crores based on how word of mouth will impact footfall.

Last words: If you have watched all recent released movies, i can recommend this movie to overcome boredom.

Jabariya jodi serms to be made jabariya, same cliche old story with a new name. Side actors are much better than main. I might be a good one if it must have been created with planning and focus.

Jabariya Jodi (Forcible Matrimony) dilly-dallies with its plot that should have taken 30 minutes to convey its message about the implausibility and failure of forced marriages that happen in the state of Bihar in India. And it is the dull, back-and-forth love drama between the lead pair that actually annoys you even if you are interested in the main theme. And save for the lead single, the overall music, and the on-the-face advertisements for Dr. Morepen, Gas-O-Fast, and Maanyavar, nothing sticks in this lost opportunity of a film. TN.
