    pushpak vimaan

"Pushpak Vimaan" is not just a film - it's an emotional journey, a soulful connection between a grandfather and his grandson. It's one of those rare films that gently touches your heart and leaves a lasting impression. For many, and clearly for you too, this movie becomes more than entertainment - it becomes a memory, an emotion.

At the core of the story lies the pure, unbreakable bond between a grandfather and his grandson. A bond where the grandson is the first friend and the last companion of his grandfather - this touching relationship forms the emotional heartbeat of the film.

The film beautifully intertwines the spiritual belief in Saint Tukaram Maharaj's 'Pushpak Vimaan' - a divine flying chariot said to carry true devotees to heaven. The grandfather's unwavering faith in this spiritual legend, and the grandson's innocent yet deep support of that faith, make the film an extraordinary blend of devotion and familial love.

The music of the film is soul-stirring. Songs like "Kasa Sangu Tula..." aren't just melodies - they are emotions in motion. They bring tears to the eyes and peace to the soul. Each lyric feels like it's written for the heart, and the background score perfectly complements the film's devotional and emotional undertones.

Subodh Bhave delivers a phenomenal performance, portraying the grandfather with such depth and sincerity that it feels incredibly real. The child actor playing the grandson brings charm, innocence, and a quiet strength that makes their bond truly unforgettable. You don't just watch their journey - you feel it.

    Must watch

I would rate this very high. Mohan Joshi, Subodh and Smita are superb. Technically the movie is great, great camera work. Both indoor and outdoor. It creates the atmosphere perfectly.

    PUSHPAK VIMAN REVIEW :

There were many films made on Devotion of a man, most of them were fully devotional genre film where the World or Character is completely Blessed by God and those category stuff lacked Realism. Here comes Pushpak Viman which tries to work as a Reaching point of 3 Lines- Fiction, Realism and Creativity. Rather i would say it is a Triptych trapped between above mentioned things while the outcome of it comes bit confusing and below expectations.

Story can be tell in short as, Tatya (Mohan Joshi) is a Villager living in Jalgaon who have an immense faith in Saint Tukaram, his Ambitious Grandson Vilas (Subodh Bhave) is living in Mumbai with his wife Smita (Gauri Mahajan) desiring to have a set life in Mumbai. Tatya goes to Mumbai and one day he sees an Aeroplane and gets into his Fictional plus devotional world, dreaming to sing Abhang in Aeroplane. But this is not that easy, there are some circumstances which forces Smita to stop Tatya from his Aeroplane ride. Will Tatya fulfill his dream or will he give up on his dreams for the sake of the Love towards his Daughter in law? All this Masala is called 'Pushpak Viman', you better see in theatre.

While writing the Script Subodh Bhave has tried to do something retro plus latest at the same, this might have worked if the execution had been taken care little more. Mohan Joshi as Tatya is Hilarious and the way he acts all around, you feel it for him. Subodh is Good as always, Gauri is Beautiful and Promising. Other cast members have done expectedly good work. Those Cat and Mouse fights and Jalgaon vs Konkan dialogues between Tatya and Smita will surely bring smile on your face. Camera work for the same is decent. Musically this film has got much more than expected, those musical narrative scenes are signs of unique story-telling. A song made to sing the glory of Mumbai City can be called a Perfect Situational song but rest of the songs doesn't hit the specific bar. We have seen Vaibhav Chinchlkar as a Serial director so his vision or habit of Serial-making doesn't suit here for Film-making. In film you get only 120-150 minutes to tell your story convincingly unlike Serial where almost every scene is stretched, that's the fortay Vaibhav should have concentrated on.

Managing to create the alternate world Pushpak Viman never goes boring, keeps you engaged throughout. But not hitting the right chords in the 2nd half makes this one an Avearge affair. In short, Pushpak Viman had a Good Pilot, enough supporive passengers, although it takes off on rapid fire note it Fly on Low height.
