Loved A Bad Influence!

Surprised how much the film affected me. Especially the ending.

ABI is writer and director Andreas Toumbas' debut, and I reckon he's done a wonderful job. Two or three of the lead were superb in the key sequences, and the rest all had their own quirk and interest.

Some of the themes resonated with me deeply and sent me away thinking and lamenting over my own direction and behaviour.

As a (book) writer myself, I feel like once certain themes have been explored artistically, to the depth Toumbas has here, the next creative work is usually something vastly different, and I'm intrigued to see what he comes up with next.

Give A Bad Influence a whirl, mainly because it leaves a taste in your mouth, like all good art :)

This was a bloody good film that I was not expecting. The film is about a group of friends having a dinner party and it's all about the conversations. Out of those conversations secrets are revealed. The dialogue is witty, and funny and all the characters are interesting.

This film keeps your attention the entire time and is quite interesting. Most the actors are quite good, but there are also a few that are not up to the standards of the better actors. So casting is mismatched from super talented, to talented to some of the actors seemed like first timers. Some of the dialogue was quite crude and unnecessary, seemed like it needed to be vulgar to move the story forward. Overall, for a first-time director this film was pretty damn good, and everyone enjoyed the film immensely. The comedy and mix of drama were fantastic. A director to look out for, I can't wait to see what he has planned next.

This movie was amazing! The plot was fundamentally thought out & engaging. It's amazing what you can do with a great crew, writing, acting & directing in one house. It goes to show that a Hollywood budget isn't necessary to keep your audience effectively engaged.

I'm excited to watch it again. My eyes were glued to the screen the entire time, I felt like I was there. The characters are relatable in the sense that we could know someone like them, in our personal lives.

The character development is flawless. Each scene, monologue & dialogue serve to drive the plot forward. Not a dull scene in sight!

The cinematography is spectacular and reflects the mood of each scene. I hope to see this movie gain more attention around the world, as it deserves.

Watched the movie... to be honest wasn't expecting much but was blown off my seat.. without giving it away the story was so unpredictable Did not see the ending Great acting by all cast Very relatable Would recommend to anyone to watch A must see Here I am thinking it would be some b grade movie and it totally blew all my expectations out of the park I could only give ten stars as that's what was available Looking forward to see what this guy brings out in the future.

This guy knows about directing and acting and I see nothing but good fortune for him to come Can't wait for the next movie. Great work.

When this film hits, it hits hard! In between the humour and banter between friends, there is a dark undercurrent that grows steadily towards a shocking climax.

There is some drug use and a fair bit of profanity. Despite moments of levity and some laugh out loud moments, there is a tension and intensity that I felt throughout the film.

This indie film came out of nowhere and I enjoyed every minute of it. Great performances from the cast who have great chemistry together. It is a cleverly written script with some real depth to the characters which had me flipping allegiances and sympathies as the story progressed to a satisfying conclusion.

I was entertained throughout. Definitely check it out!
