Since the end of 2019, the trailer for "El Vestido De La Novia" was shown in movie theaters in Mexico as a movie about to be released. The premiere was scheduled for the first months of 2020, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, its premiere was postponed. Since the end of 2020, throughout the year 2021 and much of the year 2022, the trailer continued to be shown in movie theaters without having an established release date. The film's poster and advertising were in Mexican theaters until they were withdrawn and the film was finally released directly via streaming at the end of 2022 without being released in theaters.
