    Very Funny!

Reminds me of the "Carry On" movies...pretty good, gentle humor. And my niece (Tracy) was awesome in it, too!

Superb cast, a take on "carry-on" lots of cheese added

Lets pro and con this and a quick summary :

Cons ; A ferry with about 20 paying passengers ?!?! The story line need you to use your imagination As with carry on films lots of cheese added

Pros : Amazing cast Very funny one liners and well acted Great use of a simple "who done it" and "carry on cruising" Simple story line that easy to follow and very funny

OK some review's have pulled it apart and other taken it on board for whats it worth and the fun value entitled when you watch.

Summary : Johnny Vegas is the Sid James and should you watch well if you want a laugh with a easy story line that had cheese and childish humour - then defiantly watch. If not your bag then I am sure the news will be on one channel.

Stupid but so so funny !!! It's good

Death on the Tyne is a 2018 television comedy murder mystery film that was originally on Gold TV now it's on BBC I PLAYER channel 2 . The second film after Murder on the Blackpool Express then on to Murder in Middlesbrough as the third instalment. Death on the Tyne following Terry, Gemma, Mildred and friends on an eventful overnight ferry. This one was better than the first television film I found it was more funnier. The storyline is silly and stupid but so funny, it's like black comedy. The film has lot of different stars and all very good in playing the characters. Johnny Vegas and Sian Gibson are very good I do like them. It's nice to watch a comedy and the fact it was so bloody funny. To much doom and gloom on tv we need more laughter. So if you want to watch something completely different that is light hearted very funny but stupid then you need to give this a watch. Death on the Tyne has amazing cast from Benidorm, Last Tango in Halifax and line of duty. It's fun, stupid, silly and hilarious. Get watching now on channel 2 on BBC I PLAYER.

    Corpse Comedy

If you like comedies and murder mysteries, this trilogy is definitely a combination worth watching. It contains all: hilarious over-the-top situations, misunderstood clues, silly characters, love triangles, several obvious suspects, and a surprise killer.

OK, the low budget is showing, and the number of passengers and crew was not convincing, but hey, they would have been in the way, anyway. The story did not really need them. If anything, the main stories were entertaining enough without too many distractions going on in the background.

Only pity that the life boat potential remained underutilised.

    Why the hate?

If you saw murder on the Blackpool express- you knew what to expect. It was silly, daft, mad fun in the way of a carry-on film. Terrific cast too- and I had a laugh. It was very much as I expected. As a veteran of North Shields ferries to Holland- the hen-night could have been rowdier. ;)

Someone has already mentioned the three stripe/four stripe epaulettes worn by the First Officer. Three is correct. In some scenes both are 3 and others, both are 4. But in the final scene, he manages to wear 3 on his right shoulder and four on his left.

Justin: The main pump room is flooded, but I can swim across it and get to the pumps. Once I'm there, I'll start them up, and we should be okay. It's a bit of distance, but I think I can make it.

Terry: Can I say I'm loving your use of the word "I". You've not said "we" once, and I'm very grateful for it.
