Odu Raja Odu

Odu Raja Odu is a story about a person who faces lots of hurdles during his trials to buy a set-top-box to gift his wife.

Though this is such a short story, I liked the way this Film Director(Mr.Nishant Ravindran) has portrayed a very good yet tricky direction of characters which makes us eager to view the twists and turns of the movie.

Songs were good. Songs were something different like the movie-neram blended with the fast events on the go and quite different from the usual dance numbers.

I liked the parts where a super-woman comes suddenly just like a miracle to fulfill his wish to buy a set-top-box. Movie just didn't let anybody feel boring. Yet, I didn't like some scenes where couple of female roles were portrayed as of bad nature.

All my best wishes for the team. Shows the excellent direction where I never felt that this was the first movie in the direction of Mr. Nishant Ravindran.

Hilarious movie that can be related to a jigsaw puzzle. Loose a piece and you don't get the picture. You walk in late with your popcorn and you miss a scene and it gets difficult to join the dots and understand the story. Slow paced till we settle into our seats and then it's a racy roller coaster ride with twists and turns. Few hiccups might be there but overall a Wonderful movie worth watching with a smile till the end. Totally loved the storytelling. Might seem confusing with all the characters (they might seem unwarranted but each person is important and interlinked) but everything becomes clear in the climax.

Another entry in the black comedy genre, with unknown characters and contrived "plot twists". These films sometimes succeed when backed by solid acting or a good story line. This one doesn't have either. With too many characters and too many forced mishaps to build a convoluted narrative, the director manages to lose the viewer quite early into the movie. None of the characters are likable or even interesting. You stop caring about what happens to any of them and it's hard at this point to keep watching the movie. The music isn't memorable either and the quirkiness (which is a hallmark of such low budget black comedies) is overdone, and feels rather forced which spells the death knell for this movie.
