    Touching and Poignant

I happened to catch this at the Portland Film Festival and all I can say is - wow!

Richie Allan delivers a riveting performance as a grieving widower in this moving and beautifully filmed short. The chemistry between him and Elvira Tortora - who plays his wife Abigail - is palpable, and the score is the icing on the cake of this powerful examination of love and loss.

    • Quotes

The Girl: [looks at Abigail's grave, then to Elmer] Are you sad? About your wife?

Elmer: Yeah, um, it's only been a year since... and, uh, it's the first time I've been here, you know. So... yeah.

The Girl: Did you love her?

Elmer: Oh, yeah. I loved her. I wished I would have told her more often, you know. Hangin' out with a guy like me for fifty years.
