Episode #1.3

This is an episode where Shruti comes to the fore. She is treating a patient and suspects that her husband is being abusive to her.

A domestic violence story where Adam realises that Shruti is doing her best for her patient, even if the patient does not want to help herself.

Shruti is even asked out for a date. Like Adam she realises that at the end of a harrowing shift, you are in no mood for a pizza.

Adam is also late for a date. He arrives at the second half of a concert with his mum and Harry. It does not go well.

Neither does a visit by the minister. The hospital is in chaos with a faulty alarm. Adam's shiny new suit is ruined by a patient who throws up.

The best parts is not the chaos but the black comedy such as the patient who wanted to eat her baby's placenta but had the blood clot instead.
