The other reviewer I guess didn't see the charm - but I laughed a lot! I know ALL of the dialog was over dubbed so I guess the budget was so low, they couldn't record the sounds on set. But this take Halloween, Psycho, Carrie and mix them up with the presidential campaign and you have yourself a fun midnight movie.
Nothing more to say, other than this is just ridiculous, and stupid.
Definitely not politically motivated...
I'm sad to see such negative reviews, this movie was pretty funny, it's comically low budget and it really was pretty enjoyable, as long as you're not expecting a cinematic masterpiece and aren't set on being too uptight about things.

It's unfortunate star ratings don't have a minus sign option as this movie (calling it a movie is to generous) is about the worse piece of crap I've even seen. There are "B Movies" than there's this, File it under "RD" for Rubbish Dump.
The main problem with this movie is that it's essentially all reference-based comedy in which you're meant to go "Oh, I remember that," as the film is mostly parodying shots from horror classics. The problem is it's too low effort to be effective parody rather than feeling like a bad knockoff, and the titular pun only goes so far on its own as a joke. The premise seems very funny, but unfortunately the joke doesn't last longer than a few minutes. It doesn't really matter what your political views are going into this film as it's fully aware of how stupid it is and doesn't hesitate to try to offend both sides. Another problem is that the film borrows way too heavily from Halloween to the point where it's simply a Halloween parody with a few references to other horror films here and there, including the more recent It Follows, I believe. If you turn your brain off entirely for this one, it can be entertaining, but mostly it's a bit too one-dimensional to be a substantial comedy, and isn't creative enough to live up to its perfect pun of a title and timely subject matter.
