I really had high hopes for this show. Always enjoyed her design sense on Flip or Flop. So I was hoping this would really expand on her knowledge. Instead this show is set up as a Real Housewives of OC show bookended by design. It's more aimed at her life and drama than design. And it even has an "aftershow" to discuss her personal life, hair extensions and eyelashes. Disappointing addition to HGTV. More suited for Bravo or E!
We've watched all of the Flip Or Flops. It's a watchable show and when Christina speaks directly to the camera, she's not very good. But, overall we thought she was the big draw because of her looks, mostly.
Well, in this new show, she's fully exposed and it's not pretty.
It's more of a social media Hollywood look at me, I'm pretty, show. One thing for sure, she'll never make it as an actress.

This is a self-promoting show disguised as a designing show . The purpose of this show seems to be , her proving to the world that she's happy and has a new husband -who I don't think is all that, have you see her ex husband lately ?hotdam! The divorced suit him well- she picks the same old gray and white cabinets. She needs coaching and can't stick to a budget . Just a snooze fest that keeps getting promoted who knows why. She can't compare to the other ladies from hgtv no matter how much the keep showing her .
Just like in the previous show she does the decorating. But it's not a lot of that, you see her show a tile here and there and then it goes back to her personal life and that's what it's mostly about it with a splash of remodels. She should have put this show on Bravo so it was like Flipping Out then she could have gotten the popularity with the drama. Especially since it's going to show her engagement and wedding news, etc. But showing her get her extensions done and talking about making out with your now husband up against a wall by a bathroom on your first date (I'm all for it) but it's a little trashy when you out it on put it out there for the nation to hear (just an opinion) And your children. I'm sure if Tarek was dead he'd be rolling over in his grave seeing this. I think the music is horrible, it's too upbeat/dance/I-don't-know-what for a coastal home show. Lastly, I hate how in the intro the camera pans in on her boobs while she's in her yellow shirt and kinda focuses on there. I like her, I just think it looks trashy. It could be more of a home show for sure, but it it were, then it'd be the exact show with her ex. I like her, I do. I'm just not a fan of this show. Maybe it will get better, but for now-it's boring.
I have it a chance, really wanted to see her succeed, but what a train wreck. I never realized how little talent she had in designing. It's like she just spends her time showing off herself, not cool projects. I'm really not sure how she managed to convince execs to give her a show about her prancing around, but somehow someone signed off on this waste of airtime. They should probably change the name to "Christina in the Couch." I feel stupid for making the attempt to watch.
