Mister Tachyon

It could be purely satiric, or it could be satiric debunking a la Penn & Teller's _BS_. It can't decide, or lacks the talent to delineate, and instead just gives us a bucket of mixed beans and hopes we believe the creators are cleverer than they actually are. This slop just presents us with pseudoscience claims, then claims to "examine them scientifically", does some sloppy science that concludes nothing and leaves episodes hanging unconcluded. I have no idea what the point of this nonsense is, nor do I think they do. Someone got funding for a teevee series. This the result. Of interest only to stupid teevee premise curiosity seekers. This is a vacuum otherwise.

This could have been an intelligent mockumentary... but then it throws away the satire and tries to play straight. Or, it could have been a straight documentary... except it throws out its credibility in the initial premise.

Mister Tachyon spectacularly fails to be anything at all. Except, perhaps, fuel for the occasional deeply delusional, tin-hat wearing, card carrying, nut-jobs.

Whatever its intended audience, it seems to go out of it's way to disenfranchise the bulk of them with its conflicting theme and backstory. This is sloppy, lazy, garbage that really ought to have picked a direction before picking up a camera.

Someone pay me to run around and disprove pseudo-science, please. That is all this show is. I would love to be this fake entity and get paid for it. The outcomes are obvious and the studies are nonsense because it's, again, an endeavor in pseudo-science.. If these are really the questions people in America want to be answered, we have a serious problem. Any sort of critical thinking should tell you this show is pointless. I mean, the name is stolen from the crap prequels to Star Wars. I know that, and I don't even like Star Wars. The only thing good about this series is the demonstration of the scientific method. Otherwise it should get zero stars.

I really enjoy the scientific aspects of the show but the back story is cheesy and not needed. Drop it!!!

At times it appears to be skeptical, only to contradict itself. irresponsible broadcasting, people are gonna believe this junk
