I have watched some garbage in my time but this takes the biscuit! The script plus the acting from Ana Alexander was dreadful. And, who kept lighting the candles in the house? The people giving this 'any' stars must be family or friends of the cast. Please don't waste your time watching it. Time better spent watching paint dry. Potential for a great story, using the opioid crisis in a small town situation made me click on this movie. But very quickly it became clear that perhaps that was a bad idea. I kept it on as background noise while working on dinner.
Terrible lines and mostly awkward acting by the cast, but the most grating was the mother, Diana Adams (Ana Alexander) with her uber fake crying and shaking hands.
Plot holes, unbelievable situations (heavily pregnant woman day-drinking in public), a deep neck wound that only bleeds a smudge, and flat characters don't help.
When the supposed "twist" happened, there was not a shred of believability to be had anywhere.
Don't bother watching this movie unless you are trying to fall asleep.

The acting is so bad it could be a comedy! But not all the blame should be on the acting the directing, production right down to the sound.. of a echoing voices ect... just awful! I do appreciate they're trying to address opioid issues in small towns but this was really terrible! Only watched because I couldn't sleep and kind of fascinated with how bad is.
Found this while looking for something to stream. Very entertaining. Stellar cast. Kept me guessing until the end.
