What a wonderfully powerful and thoughtful piece of work. It kept me engrossed from the start to finish. Don't scroll past this one. It's a beauty.

Brilliant plot, Amazing cast and production. I would totally recommend it to watch and i will add it to my movie collection to watch with my mates.
I thoroughly enjoyed this movie along with the use of some outstanding up and coming actors. The character of Chris which was casted to Xavier Michael was an inspired choice. Xavier's portrayal of Chris was exactly as I had imagined after first reading the book. Hopefully there is a follow up series or movie and Xavier sees even more screen time as an integral character to the overarching story arc.
Young and restless ... and quite oblivious to what might come next it seems. Not entirely of course, they do know that certain things (one particular inciting incident) will get them into trouble ... but it's not like there seems to be a life lesson learned.
At least the road taken does not seem one that I think most of us would approve of. On the other hand, what to do, when your opportunities seem limited? This does not ever reach the heights of any of the 80s classics - coming of age youth criminals and whatever other word might come up if you look for something similar from that era.
Still it is overall a decent effort, played well by the actors and while it seems aimless at certain points, still interesting from start to finish.

This film was a good as I thought it was going to be and this kills me. I already loved the story being an actor who tried out for this role on the Gold Coast. I'm now based in Sydney and drove out to Richmond to see it wondering the whole way, imagining what it would be like, seeing myself as the only Chris, even though I have to say the Chris was a great actor.
The movie came together really well, Neil did a great job directing it, it looks like a big production and the casting was spot on, my only complaint is why this was not made in Australia, why did you take it overseas Neil? it should have stayed here!!!!
