No spoilers! I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know these characters and watch them change and grow. The story is simple, but the emotions are complex and deep. The music and humor are a nice bonus! I really felt connected to the main character (played by Tom Heard), and loved the supporting cast, as well. Sweet story, great cast!
A lovely, touching, funny movie with a terrific cast. Great writing and acting. Definitely a must see!
Getting It was enjoyable to watch. The characters are accessible for the audience and the movie is sweet and heartbreaking all at the same time.

Finally a gay movie that isn't based on our reaction to HIV or hate. Watched this movie twice and came to conclusion that even though the characters are played uneven for the most part that's part of the character. A movie I would watch with my parents.
From his opening song and annoyingly throughout Tom Heard was just a reason for me to dislike this film.
A nice story but you can tell this was written directed and starred Mr Heard and was just a vehicle for him to .... well sing annoyingly.
Pretty standard and samey to much better movies out there.

- GoofsIn the movies like Jeffrey, Love Valour Compassion, Say Yes, also including Big Eden, the love scenes like in Say Yes & Big Eden was never shown in this film, meaning, the love scenes in this film, show that the main characters in this film that they weren't into the love scenes the way the should have, meaning, the kissing scenes, in this film the main characters were more closed mouthed in which the films I have mentioned never had that at all, did it, so why wasn't that shown in this film?
