This series represented the Syrian life during the civil war perfectly. I watched the whole series (30 episodes, each around 38 minutes) within just 2 days. All I can say about this series is "this TV show is absolutely number 1 and the best I ever watched so far".
How can you give us a real war story without blood?
The show represent the politic and civil life in SYRIA with a high level of directing.
a lot of emotions in the romance story between Orwa and Hanaa with too much realistic, the love of money and how affect the life.
Simply it is a masterpiece
This series strikes a profound chord with the human experience, exploring the darkest corners and deepest valleys of our souls. It carries an unrelenting sense of dread, with an ever-present shadow of inevitable catastrophe, reflecting the fragile, transient nature of existence. What makes the tragedy even more devastating is that it's born from the beautiful things in life-love, hope, and connection-all destined to fade or break. Each episode peels back layers of emotion, exposing raw vulnerability and the quiet despair that often defines our struggles. Prepare to invest hours in tears-this isn't just entertainment; it's a haunting reflection of the human condition, where suffering feels not like an exception, but an inescapable destiny.
A look at the tragedy from the inside, so much pain, so much truth, so much love, so much regret! Masterpiece of Syrian drama! A must-watch.
Laith Hajjo crowned his work with this timeless masterpiece! Genius director, genius writer, flawless screenplay!
Actors are incredibly talented. In particular, the great actor Salloum Haddad, and the charming young talent Mahmoud Nasr!
The plot is elaborate, and the cinematography is just amazing.
There is a very striking and very moving point: the use of full color for old scenes, and dull gray colors for current scenes (wartime).
In short, a series that touches the feeling of anyone in us, and touches the soul of humanity!
Masterpiece.
