Jafra Younes is an award-winning Syrian actress known for her leading roles in In Paradox (2019) and The Platform 2 (2021) on Netflix. She took the Best Actress award at both the Delhi International Film Festival in 2018 and the London Independent Film Awards in 2022. Younes is fluent in English and Arabic and graduated from the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts in Damascus, before attending classes at Stella Adler Acting Studio (Los Angeles).

Younes' career began at the young age of 9, with her debut in the TV series Al-Jamal (1999), and she went on to receive intensive training in acting for 5 consecutive years from some of the most prominent Middle Eastern actors at the Teatro Institute for Performing Arts from 2003 to 2005.

In 2018 she received the Best Actress award at the Delhi International Film Festival in India for her role in the movie "The Labor", and she holds the Shield of Excellence and Creativity title of the Cairo Radio and Television Festival in Egypt from 1999. Younes was named "Best New Face" in 2016 by an audience vote of a number of local TV networks and radio stations in the Arab world, and has participated in theatre performances all across the Middle East and North Africa, including at the Arab Theater Festival in Algeria, and the Carthage Festival in Tunisia.

Jafra Younes has starred in over 15 TV shows and film productions, directed by some of the most prominent directors in the region, including Hatem Ali, Shawqi Al-Majri, Laith Hajjo, and Yasser Sami among others.
