The Adventures of Kitty Zombie

Mike Bradecich and John LaFlamboy must be some kind of crazy geniuses. This short promises a potential series that, having watched it, makes one WISH it had gone on to become a series. Kitty Zombie (Geoffrey Graves) is a surprisingly child-friendly character that, as the tagline promises, has the "Body of a Monster, Mind of a Puppy," and is every bit as adorable as that implies. And the Evil Scientist, Doctor Vosfoteugh (Ron Fitzgerald), is the kind of over-the-top baddy in the tradition of Simon Barsinister.and Heinz Doofenshmirtz. A wonderful "origin story" setup, introducing some adorable child ensemble characters as well as a number of other comical creatures that, presumably, would have become "monsters of the week" in subsequent episodes had this become a series. The biggest negative here is that it DID NOT lead to subsequent episodes. Nonetheless, check out this little short and imagine what could have been.
