A TV series based on the film *The Gorals: Highlanders of Carpathia* was created for Polsat, one of the largest commercial television stations in Poland. The decision to produce the series was made by the programming director, Radoslaw Slawinski, after he saw the film at its cinema premiere. The series went on to become a major success on the Polsat Play channel.
