Excellent

If you liked Hachiko, you will love this film. A pleasant surprise, a touching story based on true events. Palma captures the loyalty of a dog waiting patiently for his owner's return. It blends genuine emotion, warmth and subtle humour. It is complemented by charming performances from both humans and dog(s) and represents a heartfelt portrayal of friendship and resilience.

It is perfect for families and dog lovers alike. The 1970s Soviet airport setting adds unique charm and depth, highlighting the bond between Palma and a boy who needs her just as much. Their connection grows despite rules, loss and fear.

Excellent!

Wonderful movie! What a nice surprise from Russian cinematography: the 'western' way of telling a story, filming, acting, editing, and all that with the Russian soul. It was a great pleasure to watch it throughout with eyes and heart filled with emotions! I have no objections, not at all. 10/10.

Awesome movie! An exciting, very kind, life-affirming story. Very beautiful shooting, wonderful actors and everything in general Palm the Dog should receive an Oscar for her role)

Watchable sentiment drama with some hurdles

RATED 7/10 Language: Russian

Watchable pet loving movie with unconvincing climax making. The real story might be good to hear but when they dramatise, it become too much to digest/enjoy. The initial and mid potions of the movie was thoroughly enjoyable one. But the sentiment factor and repeated sentiment scenes makes this dragging one.

It was dead slow towards end and ended up one time watchable sentiment drama...

Emotional roller coaster

I don't get emotional while watching movies but this movie had me within first 10 mins. One of the best movies. Clearly we don't deserve dogs. I have seen people abandoned their dogs and I believe they need to see this movie so that they will realise what they have done.
